Gurdwara Ber Baba Buddha Sahib

Guru Arjan Singh compiled the Guru Granth Sahib and installed it in the Harmandir Sahab in 1604 AD. Ber Baba was the first 'Granthi', (the reciter of the Holy Book). Budha (बुड्ढा), was a title assigned to him by Guru Nanak ji. It is said that as a small boy, he had some interaction with Guruji about God and Guruji, very impressed by his seriousness gave him this title.
